In 1995, Edwin Flak founded Flak Professional Corporation; a boutique firm that specialized in Family Law. The firm soon earned a reputation as the one to go to for highly complicated, and seemingly hopeless cases. Over time, Edwin's clients returned to seek counsel on other matters that were not related to Family Law. This is how the firm, now called Flak Law, came to practice Corporate, Trust, Estate, Condominium, and Environmental law. Edwin studied Halakhah, the collective body of Jewish religious laws, under the tutelage of Rabbi Orbach. For over ten years, Edwin represented clients in the Beit Din, a rabbinal court of Judaism.
In recent years, Flak Law has attracted an exceptionally talented group of associates who are taking the firm in new directions, and refining the firm's existing services. Edwin Flak is currently the Principal Emeritus. He hopes to return to active practice some time in 2021.
